We are inviting you to dive the world-famous dive site, Tiger Beach, located just 20 nautical miles off West End, Grand Bahamas.
This incredible dive site is the greatest place in the world to encounter large tiger sharks in crystal clear, shallow water.
Here you will dive with more than tiger sharks…
There is also, lemon sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, nurse sharks, and if luck is on your side, great hammerheads and bull sharks.
We have been diving Tiger Beach for the past 18 years…

Female tiger sharks return to these shallow waters, year after year making it a prime location for unforgettable encounters.
This isn't your typical dive adventure; you are going to see sharks, and a lot of them.

Before each dive, we conduct a comprehensive safety briefing, guiding everyone on how and where to position themselves in the water for the most secure and enjoyable experience.
Safety is of paramount importance on these dives, and our experienced shark guides are well-versed in maintaining a controlled environment for both humans and sharks.
We only bring down enough bait to offer the sharks a snack, which keeps their focus on the bait box.
This ensures a controlled and safe encounter, allowing you to comfortably capture images while maintaining a respectful distance from the sharks.
Our priority is to create a positive and responsible experience for both you and the sharks.
By providing a controlled environment and following strict safety protocols, we aim to minimize any potential risks and ensure that our interactions are conducted with the utmost care and respect.
We understand the importance of preserving the natural behaviors and habitats of the sharks, and our responsible approach to shark diving allows us to witness these magnificent animals in their element while contributing to their conservation and protection.
TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
ARRIVAL DAY
The M/V Dolphin Dream, (your home for the week). You must be on board the ship before 6PM. Today we do the customs paper work and get you settled into your quarters.
The crew will brief you on boat safety and the plans for the week. Dinner will be around 8PM, and departure time for the Bahamas is after 10 PM.
Day 2
FIRST DAY OF DIVING
We arrive at West End, Grand Bahamas sometime around 7AM to check in with customs. After we clear customs, we journey to the Tiger Beach area, to do our check out dives.
We arrive normally after 1PM. Once we arrive, we begin diving. The first dive is a check out dive (gear, cameras, weights).
Depending on when we arrive to the dive site, we will try for a second dive.
Day 3 - 5
THREE DAYS OF DIVING
We have 4 planned dives today. These will be chummed dives, one may be a swimming dive. Also, depending on weather conditions, we may possibly do a night dive today. (Please note, you are NOT required to do every dive.)
Day 6
FINAL DIVE DAY
Our final day of diving. Today we schedule a maximum of 3 dives. 2 morning dives, and one after lunch. We will depart back to Riviera Beach, Florida after dinner. Normally around 6PM.
Day 7
DEPARTURE DAY
We arrive back in Florida, around 6AM. We have a US customs appointment at 9AM.
After we clear customs, we will return to our marina at 9:30AM.
*If you are flying out of West Palm Beach International (PBI), we recommend that you make your return flights after 12 noon.
* If flying out of Miami, we recommend that you make your return flights after 3pm.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

A non-refundable deposit of $800 USD is required to reserve a space on SDM adventures.
50% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 180 days prior to departure.
100% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 90 days prior to departure.
A 4% surcharge is applied to payments made via credit card.
A 3% paypal surcharge is applied to payments made using paypal.
Payments can also be made via wire transfer. Just let us know and we will send you the bank transfer info. Please add $40 to cover bank fees.

All cancellations made more than 120 days prior to departure will receive refund (less an administrative fee of $800 USD per person). This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we manage to fill the trip after you cancel, we will apply the deposit towards any of our trips that you sign up for, during the following 12 months. If you cancel again during that period, you will lose the deposit.
Cancellations made (91 to 120), calendar days prior to departure, are assessed a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire trip price, (including extensions).
Cancellations made within 90 days of departure date will not be refunded, therefore we strongly recommend all guest purchase travel insurance.
All cancellations must be made in writing by mail or by email to sdm@sharkdivermag.com, - received and acknowledged by SDM Adventures.
We are not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other reasons.
No fees will be refunded if you withdraw after an expedition begins.
We are not responsible for any fees associated with non-refundable air travel, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.
